The family’s spokeperson revealed that Jacqueline Towns succumbed to the virus on 13th April after less than a month of battle with Covid-19.
They also reported that Towns’ father, who also contracted the virus, made a full recovery and has been released from quarantine.
“The Towns family is heartbroken by the untimely passing of Jacqueline Towns, due to complications as a result of COVID-19,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
