One guardsman tried to shake Keke’s hand but she asked them to march beside them. When they declined, Keke asked them to take a kneel to show support.
“Can you do me a favor? Can you take a kneel?,” Keke requested.
The guardsman said: “Absolutely.”
Keke then said, “I don’t know — that ain’t enough for me” after which the other soldiers joined and took a kneel.
