During the hearing on Dec 18th, the ‘Gummo’ rapper was given a total of 24 months in prison, which the rapper is not thrilled about.
13 of the total 24 months are considered already served. He also received five years of supervised release, 300 hours of community service, and a $35,000 fine.
“He’s feeling a little down right now but he’s strong, he’ll survive,” Tekashi’s lawyer said. “The best thing to come out of today was closure, he knows he’ll be home in July and then he can focus on rebuilding his career and relationships.”
