Do My Eyes Deceive Me?
In another magnificent 3-D work of art, this couple appears to be sitting on one wall of a swimming pool that has been rotated 180 degrees. It creates a wonderful illusion that the water from the pool is magically at a standstill, not spilling out onto the ground as it should.
To clarify, this is a rotated photo of a man and a woman lying in a pool of water with their legs resting on the surface. It is an illusion called “forced perspective” photography. But let me tell you this, nothing looks forced in this image. While it does appear strange, the two people are so calm. Such a clever trick.
