Levitating Piles of Wood
Any idea what is going on this picture? A row of wood piles floating on air, perhaps? Guess again. No sorcery was involved in this, and sorry to burst your bubble, Harry Potter fans, but those piles aren’t the magical ones used in creating wands.
The explanation behind this is actually pretty simple. The incredible illusion of the hovering piles of wood is just formed by a puddle of water on the road. Isn’t it amazing how a simple puddle of water can create such an intricate illusion of two piles of wood instead of one?
