A Heavenly View Underground
Once again, for your awareness, this image is not Photoshopped, filtered, nor faked. This breathtaking photo was taken in the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves located in New Zealand. Yup, you read that right. Those billions of bright orbs that seem like stars in the night sky are actually glow worms.
They are perhaps the least icky worm species in the world. I never thought I’d say something like this, but gosh, those worms look amazing. The bright neon colors perfectly contrast with the dark and haunting feel of the water-filled underground cave. Glow-worm caves are definitely going on the bucket list!
