The Poor Beached Whale
It was supposed to be a beautiful day at the beach for the vacationers heading to Agate Beach in Bolina, California. Little did they know they were about to bear witness to a majestic whale washed up on the shore. It was May 26, 2017, when this 79-foot female blue whale was found dead on Agate Beach.
A few beach-goers naturally gathered around the massive beast to get the chance to see such a magnificent, magical creature up close. When news broke of the event, hundreds of people came running to the beach for an opportunity to see the poor whale, who had sadly been hit by a ship a few days earlier.
