The Nazis had an infamously aggressive approach when it came to the Jews. They believed Jews, and other groups of people they considered undesirable, were inferior to them and deserved to die in order to prevent them from contaminating the German bloodline.

The Protector

Jews were made to wear a badge in the shape of the Star of David, a choice designed to simultaneously identify and shame them. Nazi officials implemented this rule between 1939 and 1945. The photo shows a Muslim woman helping a Jewish woman by covering her badge.
