German Artillery
The Germans relied heavily on their artillery during World War II. They made sure to spend money on research and development of new weapons that would be most effective against their enemies. At the time, their most famous artillery gun was the Flak 88 cannon.
Star Struck
It was a high-velocity weapon capable of sustaining 20 rounds per minute, effective against both tanks and aircrafts. The photo shows the aftermath of a German gun shelling, with the American soldiers recovering while their tent is left riddled with holes.
