Hitler the Dictator
Adolf Hitler was the leader of the Nazi Party. During his reign as a dictator, he set off World War II by invading Poland in 1939. Under Hitler’s leadership, at least 5.5 million Jews and others considerd by the Nazis to be “subhumans” went through genocide.
When Hitler realized that the fall of Berlin was imminent, he called up reserve soldiers to fight against the Allied armies. This young German boy was one of the soldiers captured by the Allies. Hitler didn’t take part in the battle, choosing to marry his lover and then commit suicide to avoid being captured.
