The Germans are known for developing and manufacturing weapons with advanced technology. While some projects were quite successful, others didn’t perform as expected. One of their inventions was the Goliath Light Charge Carrier. These were electrically powered disposable demolition vehicles.
Remote Controlled Tanks
The tanks carried 60 to 100 kg of high explosives, which were then driven with the help of a remote control into the territory of the enemy where they would subsequently explode. The Goliaths were meant for single use but were also quite costly to make.
