Time for Some Fun
During the first two years after World War II began, the United States remained neutral between the Allies and Axis. Things changed, however, after the attack on Pearl Harbor, which prompted the country to align with the Allies.
Having Fun
Apart from supplying weapons for war, the US also sent their forces to help the British soldiers. The American troops brought more than just artillery with them, they brought a fresh burst of fighting spirit and even a bit of sorely missed fun. This photo shows some seamen having a laugh while onboard a Navy ship.
