Conscription in the Military
Also known as the Burke-Wadsworth Act, the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940 was established as the first peacetime conscription legislation in the history of the US. The act requires all men who were over 21 but below 36 to register with local draft boards in the country.

Getting Fit

After the events of Pearl Harbor and US entry into the Allied Forces, all men who were over the age of 18 and under 45 were subjected to military service while all men over the age of 45 and below 65 years old were required to register.
