Schwerer Gustav Railway Gun
The Schwerer Gustav is a German railway gun developed by Krupp in the 1930s. With a length of 31.5 inches and weight of 1350 tons, it was built to destroy the French Maginot Line’s main forts, the strongest defenses at the time.

The artillery could travel on railway tracks and could fire shells weighing seven tons at a distance of 47 km. While Gustav remains the highest-caliber rifled weapon and heaviest artillery piece ever made, it was only capable of firing one shell every 30 minutes.
