The Allerheiligen monastery is almost nine centuries old. It was constructed in 1192 inside the Black Forest of Germany, and it still stands today. Unfortunately for the church, it was hit by lightning thrice in a row during a very powerful storm and subsequently burnt down.
The church wasn’t rebuilt although, if you think about it, being struck by lightning three times in a row should be enough warning for people to leave it alone. Makes you wonder what might’ve happened inside the church for lightning to strike it down that many times.
