James A. Garfield – IQ 152.3
Despite an impressively high IQ of 152.3, James Garfield did not leave the US much of a legacy. Sadly, the 20th president of the United States did not implement many policies due to his short term in office. With a service that totaled to just six months and 15 days, he hardly had time to prove his worth as president.
To be fair, Garfield did make a few contributions during his brief stint in the Oval office, clearing corruption in the Post Office, and appointing an American Supreme Court justice. A rather inept political speechwriter who had drifted into psychosis shot Garfield four months after he assumed his post as the president of the nation.
