Franklin Pierce – IQ 147.4
Franklin Pierce served as the 14th president of the United States. Despite having a slightly above average IQ of 147.4, Pierce was regarded as a politician of “limited ability.” However, he proved he could be a pivotal element in American legislation thanks to his persuasion of the Kansas-Nebraska Act that paved the path to the Civil War.

Despite having an above average IQ, Pierce was weak in his political convictions, not the kind of attitude the country needed, especially during the early stages of such a critical situation.
