The Full Monty is a 1997 British comedy classic starring Robert Carlyle. The story revolves around a group of six unemployed men who decide to make money by stripping (aka “going the full monty”). Apart from the comedy that endlessly flows from the film, it also shows a lot of heart; a winning combination that made it a major success.

The film went on to be nominated for numerous Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It’s most accurately described as a low-key and low budget film that’s meant to purely entertain. It made $258 million in the box office and 20 years later, it’s now considered a classic.
