Camels Crossing The Sand
No, this photo did not come from a cartoon. It is a real-life image taken by photographer Abdullah Alnassar using a Phantom 4 Advanced. Curious about what this is? Apparently, it is a herd of camels walking through the famous sand dunes of Saudi Arabia. The camels’ shadows even created a beautiful mirror effect that contributed to the image’s magical vibe.
These particular camels are commonly known as dromedaries. They are one-humped camels that reside in the boundless deserts of Saudi Arabia and certain areas in the Persian Gulf. For over 3,500 years, camels have been domesticated and used to transport heavy loads over distances as great as 25 miles a day. The camels in the photo are not carrying anything on their backs, though.
