The Sunken Airplane
Located in Quebec, Chelsea is home to Morrison’s Quarry, a scuba diving site famous for the sunken aircraft resting on its seabed. The quarry is a mere 25 minute-drive from Ottawa, but its resort-like vibe somehow makes you feel as if you’ve been transported into a completely different part of the world once you get there.
Aside from the sunken jet, Morrison’s Quarry is also famous for its pristine waters that are a dream for scuba diving enthusiasts. If you are a fan of bungee jumping, this is the perfect spot as well. You will also find a bunch of cars and tugboats at the bottom of the sea. It’s not as dangerous of a spot as it seems, though. It was neither accidents nor tragedies that brought those wrecks there. They were placed on purpose to attract more divers.
