Taken from the kind of vantage point only a drone can achieve, this photo of Mexico City gives us a pretty good idea of how massive and crowded the place really is. With a population of over 21 million, Mexico City is one of the most populous cities in the Western Hemisphere.
Mexico City is unfortunately prone to natural disasters, with millions of lives at risk every single day. On September 19, 1985, a large earthquake hit Mexico City, killing around 5,000 people. Exactly 32 years later on September 19, 2017, another large earthquake hit the city, claiming almost 400 lives.
