The popularity of drone photography in recent years has given rise to various contests to award the best and most creative photos taken by a drone. Many drone photographers travel the world hoping to secure their next award-winning, high-flying shot.
The stunning image above was the winning entry in a drone photography contest sponsored by National Geographic in 2014. The photo, taken by Dendi Pratama, shows a large eagle spreading its wings as it flies over Bali Barat National Park in Indonesia.
