Watching From Heaven
Drones are a great way to capture some of the most exceptional feats in architecture. Churches, mosques, and other places of worship are no exception. Pictured here is the Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor, which can be found in Barcelona, Spain.
The church is the work of Spanish architect Enric Sagnier and his son Josep Maria Sagnier i Vidal. Construction was a rather lengthy process, taking place between 1901 and 1961. The church is located on the summit of Mount Tibidabo, where it is sometimes covered by clouds. The image above conveys a powerful message, with Jesus appearing to be watching over Barcelona from heaven.
