The Frozen Fox
Now, to be clear, not all creatures found in ice belong in the prehistoric era. Modern animals are just as capable as their ancient brethren of getting themselves into icy predicaments. Such was the case for this poor contemporary fox, whose charm was not enough to stop the harshness of winter from freezing it solid. The Arctic can be so intense that even furry winter-loving creatures can’t escape its wrath.

This poor fox was discovered by a hunter in a lake in Germany. It was actually not the first beast found by the man. He also claims to have previously discovered a frozen wild boar and a wildebeest during his hunting trips. As he was not able to provide sufficient evidence to back his claim, we have no way of knowing if this is true or not. What we do know, however, is that this little fox will be displayed at a German hotel as an arctic accessory. It is a good way to warn people about how dangerous ice can be if you don’t venture into it well prepared.
