Ever had a beautiful hairstyle you wished you could keep forever? Well, you would have fit right in with the people of the 18th century. Due to the complex nature of their hairstyles with their tall coifs and extensive styling, it was common for women to not wash their hair regularly.
Back in the 18th century, women would leave their hair unwashed for days, or sometimes even weeks, after getting their hair done up in a coiffure.
