Double Trouble
While most doubles in movies resemble the actor in one way or another, Hanks’ double turned out to be his actual brother. Jim Hanks served as Tom Hanks’ double in Forrest’s running scenes, including the one where he runs across the US.
Apart from playing Tom Hanks’ double in Forrest Gump, Jim also does voice work for his brother, even serving as a substitute in different Toy Story video games due to their similar vocal tone. Jim is also a producer, director, and cinematographer.
