Forrest’s Blue Plaid Shirt
You may think you’re experiencing déjà vu every time Forrest appears on the screen wearing a blue checkered shirt. The film shows Forrest as he transitions through different ages, from a child, to a teenager, and finally as a grownup.
Throughout all of these transitions, he’s wearing the same plaid shirt. Toward the end of the film, in the scene featuring Forrest Jr., Forrest Gump’s son, he is also wearing the same blue shirt. I guess when you find something that suits you, you have no other choice but to stick with it.
