Don’t Let the Cold Catch You
As with any long-term project, it’s unavoidable for people to get sick at some point, especially when filming demands long hours. When the scene involving the football field was being filmed, Tom Hanks was suffering from a nasty flu.
While some have the chance to just lie in and stay under warm bed covers, it wasn’t an option for Hanks. Wanting to finish the scene and be professional, he forged on without complaint.
