Haley Joel Osment played the role of Forrest Gump Jr., Forrest Gump’s son, and as you can see in the picture, he sports the same style of blue checkered shirt. It was the actor’s first foray into film, and he turned out to be a natural charmer onscreen. He was just six years old when the movie was filmed.
Osment later said that Hanks served as a great dad for his first film. He rose to international film after starring in The Sixth Sense, M. Night Shyamalan’s films about Cole Sear (played by Osment), as an unwilling medium to the dead.
