The technician got everything ready for the second ultrasound and made sure to be as thorough as possible this time around. While everything seemed normal at first, the technician made a stunning discovery just a few minutes later – Nia wasn’t pregnant with twins after all. There were three little heartbeats in there. She was going to have triplets!
Mind officially blown, Nia thought someone must be playing some sort of cosmic practical joke on her. With each pregnancy, she was doubling the number of kids in her household! As anyone who has children can attest, that’s a daunting prospect, even for the most confident parents. Nia wondered how Robert would handle the news.
