His First Commercial Was For Coca-Cola
Just like many other successful actors, Keanu Reeves got his start in commercials. In fact, his first ever acting gig was in a commercial for Coca-Cola. In the ad, he plays a cyclist who’d just completed a race.
While he loses the race, his coach comforts him by handing over a bottle of the sweet soda. Keanu thanks his coach and accepts the drink. A co-cyclist then asks him who his coach is, to which he replies, “my dad.” That’s a pretty awesome first gig if you ask me.
