Keanu’s Back-to-Back Heartbreak
Back in 1999, Keanu’s girlfriend Jennifer Syme got pregnant with his baby. In a tragic turn of events, however, Jennifer conceived the baby prematurely at only eight months. The baby did not survive the ordeal. This proved to be a heartbreaking tragedy for the couple, who ended their relationship just a few weeks after.
If this was not mortifying enough, on April 2, 2001, Jennifer died in a car accident. She was driving in Los Angeles under the influence of prescription drugs for depression, and accidentally sideswiped three parked vehicles. Her car rolled and she was thrown from the vehicle, resulting in instant death.
