Keanu Doesn’t Use a Stunt Man
Only upon approval, though. Keanu loves doing his own stunts, especially ones involving motorcycles. In his most recent film, John Wick: Parabellum, he performed almost all of his stunts. Even at 54, he still managed to do 90 percent of it, but he did admit that it was much harder on his body. He shares that recovery is hard, but you get better at what you’re doing and become more efficient with experience.
Here’s an interesting fact about the movie: the John Wick trilogy’s director, Chad Stahelski, actually started his career as Keanu’s stunt double for The Matrix. He later became a stunt coordinator for several more films before becoming a director.
