Mark, being a lawyer as well as an animal lover, spent a lot of time as a volunteer in local animal shelters, offering both his time and legal services for animal welfare. He knew about the Strong Island Animal Rescue League, an animal rescue organization located near the area.
Caught up in the moment, Mark had prioritized making sure that Storm was able to get things under control and get the baby deer to safety. Once Storm had the little creature safely on dry land, he focused his attention on making sure the animal could be given appropriate care by professionals.
