Once Storm finally reached the shoreline, he dragged the deer onto dry land as Mark looked on, wondering whether the little animal would be alright. Although the deer was still breathing, he seemed to be in a state of shock, causing Storm to go into dad mode.
Storm started nudging the deer and licking its fur in an attempt to rouse him into consciousness or perhaps to make him feel better. Mark noticed how Storm had carefully brought the baby deer onto the beach and was amazed that his dog was showing such affection to the animal.
