It’s amazing to think about Storm’s actions on that day. He had no reason to save the deer, especially when he didn’t seem to know that it was another animal at first. If Mark had not raised Storm to be a good dog, he probably wouldn’t have been that quick to act.
The baby deer was truly lucky that Storm was trained the way he was – kind, quick on his feet, and helpful. Otherwise, he never would’ve acted when he saw that something was amiss in the water.
