While the baby deer was recovering at the shelter, Mark made sure to visit him, even bringing Storm along too. Mark was moved by Storm’s response to the deer’s predicament and wanted to nurture the bond that had formed between the two animals.
Going through a near-death experience together is something that can forge strong bonds, regardless of any differences that may exist. Still, Mark and the STARS team were amazed at the close connection that developed between Storm and the deer during its time in the shelter.
