If the baby deer could speak, he’d probably have nothing but praise and gratitude to express for Storm’s help. The deer was very lucky that Mark and his pups had chosen Long Island Sound for a walk that day. Otherwise, things may not have turned out the way they did.
It’s a good thing too that Storm was a Golden Retriever, with the instinct to recover things. Retrievers are also known to be very helpful and loyal, with a penchant for the game of fetch. Many other breeds wouldn’t have stepped foot in the water at all.
