For several decades, a large Star of David – a Jewish symbol – remained undetected on the roof of Iran Air’s headquarters at Tehran Airport. It was only when a Google Earth user discovered it in 2010 that the government finally ordered its immediate removal.
No-one knows exactly who did it, but some believe it was left there by Israeli engineers who led the building’s construction decades ago. This discovery came just a few months after the discovery of another Star of David on the roof of a building at Revolution Square in Tehran.
