If you find the people featured on the reality TV show Rich Kids of Beverly Hills fascinating, then the rich youngsters of Tehran might interest you as well. These so-called ”rich kids,” the offspring of some of Iran’s wealthiest people, are also celebrities in their own right, with massive social media followings.
Despite living in one of the world’s most conservative countries, these kids don’t always play by the rules. They throw the most lavish parties at their parents’ mansions, often with free-flowing alcohol (despite it being illegal). They drive the most expensive cars, wear the latest designer outfits, and document their lives on Instagram (which is technically blocked in Iran) for everyone to see.
