The Peach State
There is so much to do and so much to see in Georgia. It is home to 63 parks, 15 of which are historic sites, while 48 are state parks. Some of them are purely designed for wildlife preservation under the supervision of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. There are outdoor recreational activities available to locals and tourists alike, such as hiking along the Civil War Heritage and Appalachian Trails, whitewater kayaking, and rock climbing. You may opt for fishing or hunting too.
Is it peach or pech? Considering that Georgia’s state fruit is the peach, you would think every local knows how to spell that word correctly. The word is present on almost every street in the state, so it’s kind of odd to see a letter missing from the writing on the wall.
