The Centennial State, Part 2
Colorado is the hometown of the Rocky Mountains. It is home to the Rocky Mountain National Park which was established on January 26, 1915, by President Woodrow Wilson. UNESCO named the park a World Biosphere Reserve in 1976. The park has numerous hiking trails ranging from easy to extremely difficult. Visitors may also opt to go rock climbing and mountaineering.

Being the home of the majestic Rocky Mountains, it is natural for Colorado to host a ton of grizzly bears as well. While they may look cute and cuddly from afar, they could be extremely harmful. When visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park, just adhere to the precautionary sign and do not feed the bears as their food choices may not be what you’re expecting.
