The Bay State
The state of Massachusetts has significantly contributed to the country’s arts and culture, producing numerous artists, musicians, and writers. Some of the most remarkable authors and poets hailing from the state include Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath, H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, and Theodor Seuss Geisel, more commonly known as “Dr. Seuss.” The state is also a major center for the performing arts, with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops Orchestra being based in Massachusetts.
In Massachusetts, a “wicked stawm” is not unusual. If you ever visit the state, you have to beware of its frequent wicked weather events that make the area prone to accidents. They do have a wonderful football team though, so at least they have that going for them.
