So, did you guess it right? The Kesha we know today has definitely changed from the simple girl we saw in the previous pic. I mean, even her name has changed! Here is an interesting fact, though: after going through rehabilitation for her eating disorder at the Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center, Kesha dropped the dollar sign from her name. According to her, she did it so she could stay true to herself, and share her more real and vulnerable persona. And that’s exactly what we love about this girl: her style may be unconventional, but at the end of the day, her pure heart remains the same.
Aside from her eating disorder, Kesha is presently going through a rough time battling her former manager, Dr. Luke, who sued her for defamation and breach of contract. The lawsuit was filed to counter the musician’s civil suit against him, with allegations of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, and infliction of emotional distress. While the case is still ongoing, I have complete faith that Kesha will continue to produce beautiful and inspiring music.
