I’m pretty sure you guessed this one right! Zooey Deschanel was raised by director, Caleb Deschanel, and actress, Mary Jo Deschanel. Her sister, Emily Deschanel, is also an actress. So yeah, she pretty much belongs in Hollywood, having grown up in a show business family.
She has starred in several movies in the past but is probably most famous for her roles in the film, 500 Days of Summer, and the hilarious sitcom, New Girl. Teaming up with musician M. Ward, Zoe formed a duo called She & Him. Together, they released six albums. In 2011, she was nominated for a Grammy Award for the category, Best Song Written for Visual Media, for the song, So Long, written for the Winnie the Pooh film soundtrack.
