Nothing Is Impossible
All throughout their conversation, Chauncy referred to himself as poor. This did not come as a surprise to Matt as he already knew about the boy’s situation, but he found it striking how he would follow this up with what could possibly be the most inspirational words he’d ever heard in his life.
Apparently, the young lad had a vision. He wanted to become a successful businessman so that he could help other people in his neighborhood who were equally in need. He wanted to be able to buy them groceries, just as Matt was doing for him. To Matt, what he did was a simple gesture, but to Chauncy, it meant the world. As more stories unfolded, Matt was slowly getting more and more attached to the boy.
