Shop ‘Til You Drop
With the bag of sugary donuts in hand, the two continued to chat and walk around the store. Chauncy Jones Black noticed right away that they were not walking toward the cash register, and asked Matt White what they were doing. Matt was determined: he was going to give Chauncy a free shopping spree. The young boy was shocked to see what was unfolding before his eyes, and was surprised by the kindness this complete stranger was showing.
Matt loaded the cart with various items such as cereals and Cheetos, fruit and pasta, peanut butter and milk, soap and toothbrushes. As Chauncy walked along, he still could not believe what was happening. Matt kept casually asking questions and found out yet another heartwarming detail about the boy.
