Final Words
Matt shares his final thoughts on the experience: “At the end of the day, all of this has shown me that God’s love is so powerful. Before all the money came along, it was just me sharing videos on Facebook, trying to make a young man’s life a little better through kindness. All I really ever wanted to do was to get Chauncy to come to church with me, and encourage him to put up a lawn mowing business. Little did I know that God’s plans were so much bigger.”
“Because of God’s grace, Chauncy and Barbara now have their own home, and a bright future. Now they want to help others too by paying it forward. They want to keep the wave of love moving to save another family’s lives, the way it did theirs. And to me, that is the most beautiful and rewarding thing I could ever ask for. I just want everyone who made this all possible to know that it means so much to me, and I swear I will work non-stop until my dying day to help keep the wave moving.”
