Chauncy Black’s Story
The innocent story posted on Facebook has now transformed into a serious movement called “Chauncy’s Chance.” Media outlets such as ABC, Daily Mail, People, and many more started covering the story of Chauncy Black. Shortly after, the boy became famous, even getting recognized in the streets like a Hollywood actor. From being completely broke to being widely famous, Chauncy’s life had a complete 180 degree turn.
In an interview with People magazine, Chauncy shared that he finds it so awesome how his life has entirely changed. According to the young lad, “I can’t go anywhere anymore without people knowing who I am. They go, ‘Oh, wow, you’re that kid, you’re Chauncy!’ And I’m like, ‘Yes ma’am, and I’m glad and very thankful to everyone.” While he was loving all the attention he was getting from supporters, he was also starting to receive calls from fair-weather friends.
