So Much Love From Strangers
Facebook shares and likes are one thing, but donations are another. The GoFundMe account was able to raise a whopping total of $340,000. Who would’ve believed that a simple gesture of telling someone’s story could change a life? Before all of this, Barbara was a disabled single mother barely surviving on disability checks, and Chauncy was a teenager struggling to find a job to support her. It is so touching that, with the help of strangers, their lives were able to turn around so rapidly.
Barbara shared that, for the past few years, she’d been so ill that it was Chauncy who took care of the family, instead of the other way around. She was (and still is) very grateful to have Chauncy as a son, and thinks she could not ask for anything more. Well, she may have not asked for more, but she and her son were about to get exactly that.
